For Parents

Magical Moose can go on the Loose any day of the year, but seem to make more trips to the North Pole during the Christmas season.  The movement of any particular Moose depends upon the family with whom he or she lives and how often Santa chooses to provide encouragement or direction to the child(ren) in the family.

While your Moose often visits with Santa to share the dos and don’ts, wills and won’ts and the Do Gooding efforts of your child(ren), the frequency of the notes Santa sends is up to you.   Knowing how hectic life can become, we have provided sample notes to simplify the process for you.  Please visit our Notes Library to browse and use the notes “as is” or modify as you wish.  Print off our Note Card template to add a bit more whimsy to the messages.

Children are thrilled to find that Santa and their Moose are on their side even if they mess up.   They understand that Santa recognizes their efforts as long as they try to Do Good.  In other words, Santa and their Moose “watch out” for them rather than merely “watch” them.

Unlike other Christmas traditions, this uplifting custom can be enjoyed long after the Christmas season ends.  In our family, when my children were little Santa’s notes were cherished treasures whenever they were received.   And even now, as my children have grown older, they continue to anticipate, expect and appreciate an encouraging note or two from “Santa” during the holidays.

I sincerely hope that your cuddly Moose bearing Santa’s messages (in notes and smiles) provides wonderful memories to your family for many years to come.  Enjoy your Moose on the Loose and all that he or she brings!
